thumbnail preview of photo

this image of an east bay sunset is an HDR (High Dynamic Range) composite of 3 photographs taken one after the other yet with different exposure settings. the resulting photo-composite and illustration shows a greater range of detail than would be possible with only one photograph. (revealing a range of details that can include both highlights and shadows).

this image was also entirely photographed and developed during National Metrication Week and AAT metrication month!

typography for the 'east bay' text was set in the font Kozuka Gothic Pro EL to reflect a 'global' spirit.
